Xiao gong zhen wu lin
In the early years of the Republic era in northeastern China, the region is plagued by conflicts involving local warlords, bandits, and Japanese invaders. Warlord Lam, portrayed by Sammo Hung, may lack visionary leadership but remains steadfast in his convictions. The only safe haven in the area is ‘Lucky Town,’ a place untouched by conflict due to the protection of seven kung fu masters residing there. Young patriots Yan Fang, who is disguised as a man and played by Rose Chan, and Howard Luo, portrayed by Dennis To, attempt a nighttime infiltration of Tiger’s Den to steal a code book. Their mission fails, and as they flee, only Yan survives, eventually being rescued by Cheryl. Mistaking Yan for a man, Cheryl develops feelings for her and takes Yan to Lucky Town, pleading with the Seven Masters to heal Yan. Upon learning of a secret Japanese plan, Cheryl and the Seven Masters join forces to confront Tiger’s Den and come to Warlord Lam’s aid.
