American filmmakers Georgia and Matt, driven by the promise of a £25,000 prize offered by a local newspaper, venture to Exmoor in North Devon to capture footage of a legendary creature rumored to roam the isolated landscape. The mystery surrounding the beast’s identity—whether it’s a leopard, a panther, a hybrid pet, or a figment of imagination—adds intrigue to their quest. They establish a campsite in the forest with an old friend who has his own hidden past, and together they set up 42 cameras on trees and rocks, all connected to a central computer to ensure nothing escapes their watchful eyes during their night shifts. However, their mission takes a dark turn when they stumble upon decomposing body parts, meticulously bound together, and soon more follow. It becomes clear they have entered the domain of a predator, but not the kind they expected. Instead, they have uncovered the hunting ground of a serial killer, and they are about to become his prime targets.
