In Jacksonville, Florida, four lifelong friends, now in their early 30s, grapple with the complexities of adult life. Hutto is on the brink of fatherhood, Laith feels overwhelmed by his girlfriend’s assertive sexuality, Bobby is drowning his sorrows in alcohol while mourning a girlfriend who passed away 18 months ago, and Mark, an OB/GYN passionate about his profession, is unable to practice due to the prohibitive cost of malpractice insurance. The situation escalates when Mark is assaulted by a gun-wielding, animal-abusing pornographer because of something Laith did, prompting Mark to seek the assistance of his three friends.
