Waikiki Brothers is a struggling band facing a bleak future. Following a disheartening performance, the saxophonist decides to leave, leaving the three other members to carry on their journey. They eventually find themselves in the lead singer’s hometown, once a thriving hot spring destination in the 1980s. However, their return is overshadowed by lingering doubts, past and present disappointments, a lost romance, joblessness, and misfortune.
