Under ConTroll

During construction work in Baden-Baden in 2015, a malevolent troll, who had been turned to stone in the 15th century, is inadvertently revived. To avoid detection, the Troll possesses the body of Vanessa Majer and takes control. Meanwhile, the Troll, now in Vanessa’s form, seeks out Charlie, the virgin boyfriend of Vanessa’s daughter, as the Troll requires his blood to open a portal to a mystical prison. The only thing left to acquire is the powerful spellbook, which the Troll aims to locate with the assistance of the mysterious King of the Lake. Vanessa Troll’s scheme seems poised for success, but is thwarted by the intervention of Dr. Fischer, an author, and Béatrice, a nosy neighbor, who eventually pursue him. —Eric Hordes and Alexander König
