In “Toys,” directed by Barry Levinson, a whimsical and eccentric toy factory run by the playful Leslie Zevo faces a dramatic shift when his militaristic uncle takes over, intending to produce war toys. Leslie, along with his sister and friends, must rally to preserve the spirit of fun and imagination against the encroaching threat of militarization.
