The Watchman’s Canoe

In 1969, Jett, a young girl of both Caucasian and Indigenous heritage, finds it difficult to blend in with her peers on the reservation. When she calls upon the trees to protect her from her tormentors, she becomes aware of her unique bond with the natural world around her. Guided by a tribal Watchman, she sets off on a spiritual quest to uncover her true purpose.
