The War

Set in Mississippi during the summer of 1970, “The War” follows the story of a Vietnam War veteran, Stephen Simmons, who struggles to adjust to civilian life while trying to provide for his family. As his children become embroiled in a conflict with local bullies over a treehouse, the film explores themes of peace, resilience, and the impact of war on both individuals and families.
