The Turn of the Screw

Ann, a young governess, is dispatched to a rural estate to care for two orphans, Miles and Flora. Shortly after she arrives, Miles is dismissed from his boarding school. Although she is captivated by the boy, she harbors a secret concern that there are dark reasons behind his expulsion. With Miles now at home, Ann begins to see ghostly figures wandering the estate. Eager to understand these eerie apparitions, she uncovers that the mysterious circumstances of her predecessor’s death have dire consequences for her. As her fear grows that evil forces are targeting the children, Ann becomes resolute in her mission to protect them, even at the cost of her own safety and sanity.
