The Trough

Yu Chau is a police officer who has infiltrated the triad so extensively that he’s lost sight of his true allegiance. During a mission, he inadvertently kills a friend, prompting him to retreat to a remote area to recover. When he comes back, he joins forces with colleagues Jim and Jackie to pursue a triad leader, only to discover a conspiracy involving top government officials. Yu Chau is once more confronted with the challenge of whether to act outside the law.
