The Trail

Amelia reluctantly embarks on her husband’s ambitious journey to the west during the California gold rush of 1848. His impulsive choice to advance ahead of the group leads to his demise at the hands of Native Americans, leaving Amelia as the sole survivor. Stranded in an unfamiliar wilderness she never wished to explore, she is forced to seek out civilization despite lacking survival skills and essential supplies.
