The Song
The film centers on Jed King (Alan Powell), a hopeful singer-songwriter striving to make a name for himself while living in the shadow of his father, a legendary figure in country music. Hesitant at first, Jed takes a job performing at a vineyard’s harvest festival, where he meets and falls for Rose (Ali Faulkner), the vineyard owner’s daughter. Their romance quickly leads to marriage, and Jed pens “The Song” for Rose, which catapults him to fame. However, as he enters the world of celebrity, he faces temptations, particularly from fellow musician Shelby Bale (Caitlin Nicol-Thomas), causing his personal and marital life to unravel.
