“The Set-Up,” directed by Robert Wise, is a gritty film noir that follows aging boxer Stoker Thompson as he prepares for what could be his last fight. Unbeknownst to him, his manager has made a deal for him to take a dive, setting the stage for a tense and dramatic showdown both inside and outside the ring.
