The Scout

In “The Scout,” directed by Michael Ritchie, a down-on-his-luck baseball scout named Al Percolo discovers a phenomenally talented but troubled pitcher, Steve Nebraska, in Mexico. As Al attempts to bring Steve to the major leagues, he faces challenges in managing Steve’s unpredictable behavior while trying to secure his own redemption in the world of professional baseball.
