The Redemption of the Devil

Jesse Hughes, also known as Boots Electric, The Fabulous Weapon, and “The Devil,” is the charismatic guitarist and lead singer of Eagles of Death Metal. He is a man of faith and potentially a future conservative political figure. VICE’s documentary, The Redemption of the Devil, chronicles Jesse’s journey as he becomes a Catholic minister, embarks on a passionate romance with a former adult film star, delves into politics, and battles for custody of his only child. All of this unfolds as he eagerly anticipates the release of his first album since 2008, created with his childhood friend Josh Homme, the lead of Queens of the Stone Age.
