Adam, a hopeful musician, becomes disillusioned after a negative romantic encounter and resolves to abandon his “nice guy” persona in favor of being “the jerk.” This new approach leads to a string of shallow relationships. However, when he encounters Molly, who isn’t swayed by his abrasive act, Adam is compelled to rethink his approach to dating.
