The Frighteners

In “The Frighteners,” directed by Peter Jackson, Frank Bannister, a psychic investigator, uses his ability to communicate with spirits to con people by performing fake exorcisms. However, when a series of mysterious deaths occur in his town, Frank must confront a malevolent supernatural force that threatens both the living and the dead.
