The Fortress

Set during the Qing invasion of Korea in 1636, “The Fortress” follows King Injo and his retainers as they seek refuge in the mountain fortress of Namhansanseong. As they endure harsh conditions and internal conflicts, the film explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the struggle for survival amidst a backdrop of war and political tension.
