The Double

In “The Double,” directed by Richard Ayoade, a timid and isolated office worker named Simon James finds his mundane life upended when a confident and charismatic doppelgänger, James Simon, appears and begins to take over his existence. As Simon struggles to assert his identity, he becomes increasingly entangled in a surreal and darkly comedic battle for control over his life and sanity.
