Ismael invades the residence of an art conservator and fatally shoots the owner, leaving her daughter without parents and deeply scarred. Many years later, Ismael is employed at a bar when he encounters the daughter once more. Fearing she has identified him and might alert the authorities, he abducts her and keeps her captive, insisting that her hospital pay a ransom for her freedom. However, as he spends more time with her, an unusual connection forms, leading him to postpone the ransom demand and refrain from carrying out his threat of pushing her in front of a train.
