The Box

In “The Box,” directed by Richard Kelly, a couple receives a mysterious box with a button that, if pressed, promises them a large sum of money but will also cause the death of someone they don’t know. As they grapple with the moral implications of their decision, they become entangled in a series of unexpected and unsettling events that challenge their understanding of choice and consequence.
