The Birds, the Bees and the Italians
This anthology film weaves together three narratives, all unfolding in the Italian town of Treviso. The first tale follows a man who feigns impotence to discreetly engage in an extramarital affair. The second story centers on a bank clerk who leaves his wife for his lover, sparking envy among the town’s other husbands, who then band together to plot against the couple. In the third narrative, the town’s men are involved with a flirtatious teenager, only to discover through her father that she is a minor, leading to legal consequences for statutory rape.
