Tequila Sunrise

In “Tequila Sunrise,” directed by Robert Towne, two lifelong friends find themselves on opposite sides of the law as one becomes a drug dealer trying to go straight, while the other is a dedicated narcotics cop. Their complex relationship is further complicated by their mutual attraction to a beautiful restaurant owner, leading to a tense and emotional confrontation.
