Tangerines

Set during the 1992-1993 war in Abkhazia, “Tangerines” follows an elderly Estonian farmer who takes in two wounded soldiers from opposing sides, forcing them to confront their prejudices and humanity. As they recover in his home, the farmer’s quiet resolve and the shared experience of survival challenge the soldiers’ ingrained animosities.
