Five years ago, David’s world fell apart when his young daughter was brutally attacked. The emotional aftermath led to the collapse of his marriage and the loss of his job. Overwhelmed by guilt and sorrow, David distanced himself from his past and became isolated. He settled for a mediocre job as a security guard, going through the motions with hidden but unhealed wounds. It would only take a small trigger for these wounds to reopen and overwhelm him. During a routine security check, David finds a young Serbian girl hidden in a truck’s cab. Her sister and other girls have been killed, victims of a treacherous human trafficking operation. She begs for his help, offering David a chance for redemption. This time, he is determined to protect the young girl who trusts him. However, David is up against a formidable adversary, with his back against the wall and a gun to his head. With the assistance of a counselor from a women’s refuge, David sets out on a life-or-death mission to rescue the girl.
