Student A

Mi-rae, a solitary middle school student, endures bullying at school and abuse at home, straddling the line between the real world and her imagination. She finds solace only in the realm of a computer game and the fictional universe she creates in her notebook. As her peers, Baek-hap and Tae-yang, begin to befriend her, Mi-rae slowly starts to let them into her life. However, when the computer game is discontinued and her novel’s world vanishes, Mi-rae is forced to confront the harshness of reality once more.
