In pursuit of his estranged mother in Montana, fifteen-year-old Jake stumbles upon the seemingly ideal Tucker family, who seamlessly integrate him into their lives, despite his troubled history. Unfortunately, Jake can’t resist his impulses: he continues to steal, gets entangled with the alluring neighbor, flirts with the family’s matriarch, supports the son in his initial romantic endeavors, and orchestrates a series of increasingly daring pranks with the local boys. This drama explores themes of theft, both of possessions and emotions.
