Khorshid resides with his mother in a riverside home in Tajikistan. Each morning, their landlord visits to collect the rent. Khorshid must come up with the money, or they will be forced to move out. Despite his blindness, he possesses an extraordinary talent for tuning musical instruments, which lands him a job at a workshop that crafts these instruments. However, Khorshid is constantly captivated by beautiful music; whenever he hears a skilled musician, he becomes so absorbed that he loses all sense of time and place. This often results in him getting lost and arriving late to work. How will he manage to reconcile his passion for music with his responsibilities as the family’s provider?
