W: Two Worlds
In this film, Han Hyo-joo portrays a surgeon whose father is a well-known comic book artist. When her father mysteriously disappears, she hurries to his studio to search for him, only to encounter a mysterious man covered in blood. This encounter leads to her abduction by the blood-soaked stranger, marking the start of their intertwined tale. Set in 2016 Seoul, the narrative unfolds across parallel dimensions. The film is characterized as a suspenseful romantic melodrama about “a man and a woman existing in the same era, yet inhabiting different worlds.”
