Unfabulous
“Unfabulous” is a children’s TV series from the United States that was broadcast on Nickelodeon. The storyline centers around Addie Singer, a 7th-grade student who feels “unfabulous,” portrayed by Emma Roberts. Premiering in late summer 2004, the show quickly became a favorite among American kids aged 10 to 16. It was the brainchild of Sue Rose, known for creating the animated series “Pepper Ann” and “Angela Anaconda.”
The series concluded on December 16, 2007, wrapping up with its third season. Nickelodeon stopped airing reruns in June 2008, but the show continued on The N until late 2009. It made a comeback on TeenNick from October 11, 2011, to April 2, 2012, and returned once more on December 3, 2012.
Each episode is narrated by Addie and presented as a flashback, with titles beginning with “The.” The theme song, along with other music for the series, is performed and written by Jill Sobule.
