The Originals

Set in New Orleans, “The Originals” is a spin-off from “The Vampire Diaries” and follows the Mikaelson siblings, known as the first vampires in existence: Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. Klaus is determined to reclaim New Orleans from his former protégé, Marcel, who now rules the city. Klaus originally established New Orleans but left when his father, Mikael, pursued him, allowing Marcel to take control. Upon his return after many years, Klaus’s ambition drives him to reclaim his throne as the city’s ruler. Embracing the idea that “every king needs an heir,” Klaus accepts the impending birth of a child, the first offspring of a hybrid and a werewolf.
