Now that Karl has reached the age of 40 and entered middle age, he finds himself needing to reevaluate his life. He remains unmarried, childless, and is stuck in a job where he’s labeled as an ‘idiot’ and known for his constant unhappiness. He’s the epitome of someone going through a mid-life crisis. In an effort to sort out his life, Karl will embark on a global journey to explore how different cultures tackle life’s significant questions.
