After a particle accelerator triggers an unusual storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is hit by lightning and slips into a coma. When he wakes up months later, he finds he has gained the ability to move at incredible speeds, allowing him to zip through Central City like an invisible protector. Initially thrilled by his super speed, Barry is soon taken aback to learn that he is not the only “meta-human” created by the accelerator’s explosion—and not everyone is using their abilities for good.
