The Affair

“The Affair” delves into the emotional repercussions of an extramarital relationship between Noah Solloway and Alison Lockhart, who cross paths in the resort town of Montauk on Long Island. Noah, a schoolteacher from New York City, has one published novel titled “A Person who Visits a Place” and is grappling with writing his second book. Despite being happily married with four children, he feels frustrated by his reliance on his affluent father-in-law. Alison, a young waitress, is attempting to rebuild her life and marriage following the devastating loss of her child.
