Superjail! is an American animated TV show initially created by Augenblick Studios for its first season, with Titmouse, Inc. taking over production for the second and third seasons. The narrative centers around the bizarre happenings within an extraordinary prison. The pilot episode was broadcast on May 13, 2007, and the first season premiered on September 28, 2008. Known for its psychedelic changes in setting and storyline, along with intense graphic violence, the series has earned a TV-MA-V rating. These features are presented through intricate animated sequences, often described as “baroque and complex, challenging to fully grasp in just one viewing.” A fourth season was announced via David Wain’s Twitter account.
