Suburgatory

George Altman, a single dad, is striving to bring up his sixteen-year-old daughter, Tessa, in the bustling city. However, upon finding a box of condoms in her room, he concludes that it’s time to relocate her to a supposedly more wholesome and supportive setting: the suburbs. Yet, beneath the façade of pristine houses and manicured lawns, they encounter the so-called Franken-moms, artificial tans, cosmetic surgeries, and energy drink-chugging teenagers who are worlds apart from Tessa. This new environment leaves George questioning whether they’ve merely traded one set of challenges for another.
