Outlander

The narrative follows Claire Randall, a married nurse from the year 1945, who inexplicably finds herself transported back to the year 1743. In this unfamiliar and perilous environment, her safety is at risk. Compelled to wed Jamie, a gallant and romantic young Scottish fighter, Claire embarks on a fervent romance that leaves her torn between two very different men and two incompatible existences.
