Little Bird

Under a discriminatory government initiative referred to as the Sixties Scoop, Bezhig Little Bird is taken from her home on the Long Pine Reserve in Saskatchewan and adopted by a Jewish family in Montréal when she is just five years old, becoming Esther Rosenblum. Now in her twenties, Bezhig yearns to reconnect with the family she was separated from and is prepared to give up everything to reunite with them.
