Jim Jefferies, a provocative and outspoken comedian from Australia in his mid-thirties, resides in Los Angeles and is attempting to bring more legitimacy to his life and career. However, he discovers that this journey is fraught with challenges and discomfort at every turn. Supporting him in this pursuit is his anxious best friend and roommate, Steve, a cyber-law library salesman grappling with the aftermath of a divorce. Also part of their circle is Steve’s brother, Billy, who is living with advanced Muscular Dystrophy and relies on a wheelchair for mobility.
