Damien Trench, a high-strung culinary author, resides in Queen’s Park with his partner, Anthony.

The series centers on Damien and the various events that unfold in his life, both inside and outside the kitchen, as he works on his new book, a diary titled “In and Out of the Kitchen,” which chronicles his daily life and cooking routines.

Each episode captures a few days in the lives of Damien and Anthony, along with their perpetually present builders, Mr. Mullaney and Steven, and Damien’s formidable agent, Iain.

Damien yearns for a peaceful existence focused on fine cuisine but also strives for perfection in every aspect of his life, which rarely goes as planned. While his recipes are always successful, his personal life is a different story…
