I’m Alan Partridge
“I’m Alan Partridge” is a BBC sitcom featuring Steve Coogan, with two seasons of six episodes each, released in 1997 and 2002. The show centers on Alan Partridge, a disgraced TV host previously seen in the chat-show spoof “Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge,” who now hosts a radio show in Norwich.
The series was penned by Peter Baynham, Coogan, and Armando Iannucci. Coogan is joined by Felicity Montagu as Lynn Benfield, his loyal and timid personal assistant; Simon Greenall as Michael, a Geordie handyman at the Travel Tavern and BP garage worker; and Phil Cornwell as DJ Dave Clifton.
The show has been praised by critics and audiences alike, earning nominations for three BAFTAs, two British Comedy Awards, and a Royal Television Society award.
