In dire straits, Ray Drecker finds himself in an increasingly difficult predicament. Once a celebrated high school sports hero, Ray is now a middle-aged basketball coach grappling with the challenges of divorce and the responsibility of supporting his children. His troubles escalate when his dilapidated home is engulfed in flames. In a bid to turn his luck around, Ray opts to leverage his most valuable attribute by taking on a second job.
