Holmes Inspection

“Holmes Inspection” is a Canadian home renovation show that premiered in 2009 on HGTV, featuring general contractor Mike Holmes. This series is the third in Holmes’ lineup, following “Holmes on Homes” and “Holmes in New Orleans.” The show follows a similar format to “Holmes on Homes,” where Mike steps in to fix homes in disrepair, often uncovering shoddy workmanship. However, unlike “Holmes on Homes,” which focused on poor work by dishonest or low-quality contractors, “Holmes Inspection” centers on homeowners who have suffered due to inadequate home inspections. The series made its U.S. debut on HGTV on Sunday, December 19, 2010.
