Girlfriends
“Girlfriends,” an American comedy-drama sitcom, debuted on UPN on September 11, 2000, and continued on The CW after UPN was succeeded by the network, until its cancellation in 2008. The series concluded with its final episode on February 11, 2008.
When “Girlfriends” returned for its eighth season in the fall of 2007, it held the distinction of being the longest-running live-action sitcom on network television at that time. Additionally, it was among the top-rated scripted shows for African American adults and women aged 18-34, alongside its spin-off, “The Game.”
