From Darkness

The narrative follows Claire Church, an ex-police officer who relocates to the secluded Western Isles, seeking to leave behind the traumatic past and lingering violence that continue to torment her. However, Claire is soon drawn back into an old investigation she believed was behind her, thanks to her former lover and colleague, DCI John Hind, and his new Detective Sergeant, Anthony Boyce.
