Andie is considered off-limits for dating, largely due to her older brother Alec, the high school’s most popular student, who ensures no boy approaches her. Luckily, Andie has her trio of best friends to help her shed the “little sister” label: Dakota, her openly gay and self-assured friend; Imogen, the naive and shy girl who has just transitioned from homeschooling; and Courtney, Alec’s girlfriend and the previous year’s homecoming queen, who is reluctant to move on from her high school glory days. Together, these four distinct personalities support each other as they navigate the turbulent, hormone-driven world of high school.
