Doc Martin
“Doc Martin” is a British comedy-drama television series featuring Martin Clunes in the lead role. The series was developed by Dominic Minghella, inspired by the character Dr. Martin Bamford from the 2000 comedy film “Saving Grace.” The narrative unfolds in the fictional coastal village of Portwenn, with filming taking place in the real village of Port Isaac in Cornwall, England. Most of the interior scenes are shot in a repurposed local barn. The show originally aired five seasons between 2004 and 2011, along with a special feature-length episode broadcast on Christmas Day in 2006. The sixth season premiered on ITV on September 2, 2013.
