Doc Martin
“Doc Martin” is a British comedy-drama TV series featuring Martin Clunes as the main character. The series was developed by Dominic Minghella, inspired by the character Dr. Martin Bamford from the 2000 comedy film “Saving Grace.” The narrative unfolds in the imaginary coastal village of Portwenn, with filming taking place in Port Isaac, Cornwall, England. Most of the indoor scenes are shot in a repurposed local barn. The show ran for five seasons from 2004 to 2011, and included a special feature-length episode broadcast on Christmas Day in 2006. The sixth season premiered on ITV on September 2, 2013.
