Dirty Jobs
“Dirty Jobs” is a Discovery Channel program created by Pilgrim Films & Television, featuring host Mike Rowe as he takes on challenging, unusual, revolting, or untidy tasks alongside regular workers. The show debuted with two pilot episodes in November 2003 and returned as a full series on July 26, 2005, continuing for eight seasons until September 12, 2012. The eighth season shifted its focus to Australia, marketed as “Dirty Jobs Down Under.”
Additionally, there is a European version of the show, presented by former Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
On November 21, 2012, Mike Rowe announced that the Discovery Channel had decided to cancel “Dirty Jobs.”
