In contemporary Liverpool, best friends Jess and Elliot descend into a life of indulgence, using parties to escape the sorrow of Peter’s unexplained vanishing—Peter being Jess’s twin brother and Elliot’s beloved. Five years have elapsed since Peter went missing, yet Jess and Elliot still hold onto the hope of uncovering the truth about his disappearance.
